The Tahoe Rim Trail Trekkers are about to enter the 'home stretch' of their 164 mile hike around the Lake Tahoe Basin. At the end of Day 12, the 18 person team camp tonight at the top of Barker Pass. Thursday they will reach the Tahoe City area. Hiker, Evelyn Berg, the only South Tahoe resident team member, reports that all are in fairly good shape - including Bob (watch that left knee!!) Byrnes. Today's trek of 14 miles / with gear, finished on an up note for our Evelyn when she was treated to a "cold water table wash". Happy trekking gang.
